For Preview, I got to experience the wonderful city of Seoul for a week and had the amazing opportunity to learn about  a culture that was very different from my own. The city itself was beautiful and reminded me of a much bigger version of New York City. The interesting thing about the city was that it balanced the bustling urban life with traditional buildings, and there were even mountains in the city. While I was there, I got to visit palaces, museums, villages, and busy shopping districts. It was interesting eating the different types of food there. For instance at a Buddhist temple, I had seaweed soup for lunch. It wasn’t bad at all, but it’s something completely out of the norm for us back at home.

The most memorable experience for me though, was hiking up Mount Achasan. It was peaceful hiking up by myself, and once I reached the top, the view was absolutely amazing. The image of being on the top of the mountain will be forever engraved into my mind.
